Reduce risks in your pest management programs. Attend a 2017 Regional School IPM Workshop to be held at Auburn Elementary or Copper Basin Elementary.
The University of Tennessee Extension is encouraging all schools in Tennessee to adopt an integrated pest management (IPM) program in accordance with the National PMSP’s (Pest Management Strategic Plan) call for all the nation’s schools to be using IPM by 2020. Please let your pest control company know that the Tennessee Department of Agriculture has assigned two CEUs (categories 7,8,10 and 12) for pest management professionals in attendance.
We would like to invite representatives (director of schools, custodial staff, facilities supervisor, grounds staff, kitchen staff, maintenance supervisors, and the pest management professional) from your school system to attend one of the following workshops:
May 16, 2017 1:30 – 3:30 pm: Copper Basin Elementary School, 206 Cougar Drive, Copperhill, Tennessee 37317
May 18, 2017 1:30 – 3:30 pm: Auburn Elementary School, 150 Vantrease Ave., Auburntown, TN 37016
